It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother , Linda Jane Wohlhueter who was born June 19, 1940, the youngest of 5, to Roscoe and Gladys Howell in Belle Fourche South Dakota. She and her late husband Dennis Dean Wohlhueter made Colorado Springs their home since the 1970's. She built a fullfilling life centered around dedication, hard work and above all, love. As a respected property manager, she took pride in her work, always striving to serve others with fairness and integrity. But her most cherished role was that of a mother. She created a home with warmth, laughter and lasting memories.
She is survived by son, Kirk Wohlhueter, daughters Kari Dominguez (Michael), Kimberly Parker (Neil) and Kelly Alie. Some cherished memories of Linda's 8 grandchildren (Kyle ,Taylor, Luke, Jessica, Zach, Samantha, Alii, and Ryanne) were Nana Nights, picking crabapples and making jam, Extra blue gum, pool ball throwing, playing the piano, and her famous saying "Forevermore!" She was blessed with 6 great grandchildren ( Harper, Tatum Jane, Haydenn, Greer, James and Lili ) whom she held close to her heart. By her side for many years was her loyal dog, Brandy, a constant companion and source of comfort . Their bond was of simple, steadfast love.
We are grateful to carry her spirit and strength in our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held, Saturday, June 7, 1:00 pm, at the home of Kelly Alie.

Kirk, Kari, Kimberley and Kelly: Please know Ione, Sara, Chad and I share your grief and pray for healing and comfort. We loved Linda so much. She was the life of the party and was always laughing and telling great stories. She made everyone feel welcome and was always looking out for the little guy. She is reunited with the love of her life, Denny, my brother, and I´m sure they are experiencing peace beyond our understanding. We´ll miss you so much, Linda. Love, Jack Wohlhueter (brother in law).

I want to let Linda's family know of my love and sympathy at this time of loss. Linda was my sister in law and Linda always made me feel at home and had a way of making me laugh. She always made others feel so welcome.

I remember Linda when she was in the second grade, as was my brother in 1947. I knew the Howell family, all five children , Mr and Mrs Roscoe Howell, I specifically remember Linda and Dennis wedding day, and when a group of us abducted Linda before she got to marry Dennis. A practical joke Dennis did not appreciate but however Linda was a good sport and always remembered and reminded us of the event on her wedding day.. Ray Jarvi and Donnie who were instigators .. We have been in touch with her in the last year my wife and I and have enjoyed visiting with her. She coresponded with my wife Susie on fb.. We will remember her with fondness and we will be praying for her kids and family.. We will miss our phone calls with her..

We both loved you so much and will forever cherish your strength, your love, your commitment to family and the last 9 months where our forgiveness brought us back together. 13 years lost but in 9 months 13 years was somehow recouped by the power of love and forgiveness.

John and I had so much fun with the Wohlhueter family! Not only were their kids great neighbors, they were a blast at the annual Christmas gift exchange at Denny and Linda´s house. Our hearts and prayers are with the family forever!
