I recently learned of the death of my dear friend Lynette. She was a gem of a person who knew the meaning of friendship. Even though it has been more than 30 years since we saw each other she was in my heart, prayers and memory daily. Wynetta Hill

I first met Lynette through my wife Regina, when we were attending the first ultrasound of our grandson Quinten and also later his birth. Later on I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to share some good times with Lynette and our grandchildren, during her visits at our house for family events, like Birthdays, a Baby Shower, a couple of Thanksgivings and so on. We enjoyed her presence and friendship and she will be missed. RIP.

Today we said goodbye to Lynette during a beautiful, moving and heartfelt memorial service at the Angelus chapel. I've known Lynette since her son Maurice married my daughter Erika in 2009. We developed a special friendship over the years and shared good times together over tea at Glen Eyrie Castle and other occasions. What I will always remember most about Lynette is that she never failed to give words of encouragement along with offering her sincere prayer support. She was a very special Lady of grace and strength. While Lynette is now in her new home in heaven surrounded by God's Love, her Love and support will be deeply missed by the family and friends here on earth. RIP, dear friend!

Lynette was one of my adopted "brats!" She was known as "Brat II!" I had a beautiful conversation with her the evening before her homegoing. She was her loving, funny self. There is sadness and a emptiness in our hearts!
