Marion Petry Obituary

Marion Ann Petry, 78, passed away on January 8, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of Colorado and a graduate of Calhan High School in 1954.

Marion was born on March 21, 1936 to John and Helen Murin in Colorado Springs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom, and nephew Patrick.

She is survived by her sister Joan ( Roger) Pennington, nephews; Mike ( Denise) and family, John ( Anne) and family; Mark (Naomi) and family, Paul (Sharon), aunts, cousins and many friends.

Marion was a homemaker, sales clerk, and volunteer. She was faithful to her profession as a third order Secular Franciscan for 36 years and a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.



Marion enjoyed sharing her faith in various church ministries, watching EWTN T.V. programs, and the many vacations and camping trips with her late husband.

We will always love and miss her.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Rosary at 1:30 pm, Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 pm at St. Mary's Cathedral on Monday, January 12, 2015. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers please make memorials to St. Mary's Cathedral.
