MARY ELLEN BUDNELLA
October 15, 1930 December 13, 2018
Mary Ellen Budnella passed on December 13, 2018 after an enjoyable day visiting with friends and family. She was 88 years old. She was born on October 15, 1930 in Wauneta, Nebraska to James and Edna McBride.
She came to Colorado Springs in the early 1950's. She met and married John D. Budnella in 1957 and just celebrated their 61st anniversary. During the course of her marriage she was blessed with three sons and a daughter. After raising her children, she had a fulfilling career as an accountant for a local company. She was preceded in death by her infant brother, mother and father, step mother Eliza, father in-law Gino Maccarini and mother in-law Virgina Maccarini.
Mary (Mama) is survived by her husband John (PawPaw), her children John and his wife Patty Budnella, Tony and his wife Tricia Budnella, Jim and his wife Brenda Budnella, Judy Russell, 10 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren on the way.
Services are to be announced at a later date.

My Dear Aunt Mary (M)- How I love you so! You will be so missed in my life as well as others. There are no words to say how much I love you and will miss you! But you are with Andy and Grandpa now, you are the lucky one and so are they!!

Awe Mary my almost Mother in law (childhood funny) My heart is filled with sadness for her family and friends ! And I can't thank her and John enough for being there for us in our time of sorrow ! She was a sweet gentle caring lady great memories of her I will surely miss not being able to come by to visit the next time I'm in town! Rest now beautiful lady !
