I remember the Watson family as being active members of First Methodist Church. Mary was also a long time member of the canasta club that my mother enjoyed. They met monthly in their various homes for a bit of cards, along with incredible homemade desserts! The most important part of the group, though, was the "womanly support" they offered one another as they raised their children and cared for their husbands. Their deep friendships remained strong even as they moved to various parts of the country in retirement years. What a joyful reunion those wonderful Christian women will one day share in eternity!

I have so many great memories of Mary and Barclay from our years together at First United Methodist Church and the Canasta Club. May our Lord grant their family His
peace and comfort.
