Mary Sue Watson went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 1, 2021, at the age of 79. She was born on February 23, 1942 in Texarkana, Texas, to Mary Alice and John Howdeshell. Mary Sue graduated from Texas High School in Texarkana, Texas. Mary Sue spent many years working in Civil Service and driving a school bus for Colorado Springs School District 11. She was a 38-year member of Vista Grande Baptist Church. Mary Sue spent her retirement visiting with family, bible study, golfing, bowling, and being with beloved friends.
Mary Sue is survived by her children, Chris Watson of Antioch, CA, and Keri Janoso of Colorado Springs, CO, her 5 grandchildren and, her brother, Richard Howdeshell of Keller, TX, and Mary Sue was preceded in death by her husband, George Watson, parents, Mary Alice and John Howdeshell, brother John Wyner, and sister, Ruby Cox.
A viewing will be held at Swan Law funeral home, 501 N. Cascade Ave. on August 10, 2021 from 3pm – 7 pm. Her memorial church service will be held at Vista Grande Baptist Church, 5680 Stetson Hills Blvd. on August 11, 2021 at 11:00 am.

I want to extend my condolences to my friend, Mary Sue's, family. I was Blessed to have had the opportunity to know your mamma, at Chick Fil A, where I worked.She and her friend, Shirley came into my store for a biscuit and coffee quite often!! We had some fun chats as I refilled their coffee, and we laughed together!!!! My heart is sad to hear of her passing.What a beautiful, little southern girl, I treasure her friendship!!
