Mary A. Wisneski, formerly of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on July 22, 2025, the Feast Day of St. Mary Magdalene, surrounded by family. She died after a long battle with Parkinson's.

Mary was born on May 30, 1939 to the late Victor and Mary (Tangney) Aimone in Foxborough, Massachusetts. She graduated from Fisher Junior College, worked for a short time in Boston, then moved to Anchorage, Alaska to be with her eldest sister during her second child's birth. It was there she met and married her late beloved husband, Frank Wisneski.

Mary faithfully supported her family as they moved around the country, returning three times to Colorado Springs, Colorado where Frank was stationed while serving with the US Air Force. In addition to being a faithful wife and loving mother, she volunteered at her children's schools, at her Catholic parish, and with the various Air Force wive's organizations. She worked as a tax preparer for several decades before retiring. She loved gardening, cooking, and playing mahjong and bridge.

Mary is survived by her children: Michael Wisneski (Michelle Bauer), Patrick Wisneski and his former wife Cate Wisneski, and Margaret (Patrick) McNelis. She is also survived by her six grandchildren: Taylor (Hannah), Blake, Cooper, Courtney, Matthew, and Madeline; her sisters Barbara Bedard and Joanne Roche; her brother Bob Aimone; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at St. Bernadette Catholic Parish, 7240 W. 12th Avenue, Lakewood, Colorado. Mass of Christian Burial will follow immediately at 10:30AM. Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area A, Denver, Colorado, on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul Catholic Parish in Colorado Springs, Colorado or St. Bernadette Catholic Parish in Lakewood, Colorado

While it was a very long time ago now, I do remember her kindness when I was in the hospital, where I first met her daughter. Kindness and compassion are what I remember, even decades later. A life well lived!!
