Michael Mudd Obituary

On behalf of members of the Elk Lodge 309, Colorado Springs, we send our deepest sympathy to the family of our Absent Member, Michael Mudd. An Elk is never forgotten and forever may light perpetual shine upon him, until the morning breaks and the shadows flee away. With much sadness, our brother will be missed and our hearts will feel the weight of the passing of his good and generous soul. May God bless and keep us all forevermore.

To Mike Mudd family, Mike went to High School with my brother James J. Martinez (he passed away 2005) but I know they were very good friends. So sorry for your loss.

My prayers are with the family. He was a great coach and teacher at St. Mary's.

He coached me in basketball on the JV and varsity at St Mary's. He had a profound effect on me and showed me what it took to succeed. He will be missed by all the young men who's lives he helped shape

I am deeply saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I saw and spoke with the both of you last year and Mike was his fun and cheery self. I fondly recall my childhood memories visiting the Williams family on Adams Drive and Mike always showing up to share his humor and mischievousness. I will always consider him to be my 4th Williams cousin. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers during this difficult time.

Dear Pat, This is Jack your former neighbor on Monroe st. May God bring comfort and healing to you, Jennifer, Patrick and all the Mudd family. I ran into Mike about a year ago and was reminded of what a pleasant, caring gentleman he was. Having lost Cecilia in 2013 we spoke about how short our time is here. About how precious our loved ones are. It was an inspiring moment that left me feeling comforted and loved. Rest in peace my brother.

Deepest sympathy for your loss!!!! I am a Realtor as well, but the connection goes WAY back to Mike's Dad. He showed up at my grandpa's 75th birthday to "extinguish" the candles in an "official capacity". The whole family is special, Mike came from good genes & personified that tradition! RIP Mike & condolences to ALL family!

It has been years since I have been around the country club to see Mike but he was always such a joy. Always a smile and kind words for everyone. My deepest condolences to the family.

I haven't seen you since high school, but I know that your outstanding character must have only grown stronger throughout your lifetime.....it was just so pure and true. You always possessed such an outstanding sense of humor and unquenchable joy... all wrapped within a rock-solid integrity.

I was shocked and so sorry to read about Mike. I think of the many years we were acquainted with the Colorado Springs sports scene, what with officiating and playing. Great Guy, my thoughts and prayers.

To the entire Mudd family, my thoughts are with you all and I hope that you can use Mike's incredible sense of humor to help you through the upcoming days. He was one of those guys who you can simply describe as a nice man and you can be very proud of who he was and what he represented. I have known Mike for some 60 years and although we have not seen each other for quite some time, I just knew he had a presence in my life every day. I will miss him.
