Nelda went to be with the Lord February 10, 2026. Nelda was a life long Colorado Springs resident that graduated from Palmer High School in 1964.
Nelda is survived by her daughter, Nancy Smith of Colorado Springs; her brother, Don Coleman and family of Utah, step-sons, Jim, Tony, and Jack Costa and families along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her son, Roy Smith II, and husbands, Robert Phelps II and James Costa; sisters, Charlene Ross, Betty Strobridge; parents, Nolan and Opal Coleman, and brothers, Harry and Charles Turner.
