I'll never forget spending time with Mike at our last class reunion. I cherish the picture of us standing on the stairs of the old library. Mike and I have known each other since Kindergarten. I hadn't seen Mike for years and the minute you saw him it was like time never passed. He was so proud of his family! I feel blessed to have known such a great man with a heart of gold. My deepest symaphy to his family. I will miss his gift of friendship.

Linda,Kari,& Tom, I want you to know how much I admired and loved Mike. I valued our friendship and will miss his sense of humor and our times together; especially our ROAD TRIPS during work. Every time I drink chocolate milk I'll think of Mike.

My deepest sympathy to Mike's children Kari and Tom Michael and to their mother Linda. I came to know Mike much later than some of my other friends who went to Kindergarten with him...we met in 1st Grade. Funny, laid back, and kind... Mike was a gentle man.
His friends will miss him.

Mike is the 7th from our Class of 72 to pass on. But I will miss him the most and has hit me the hardest. Always a "character" Mike was... Always had a deal for you. His sneezing fits at 3 AM back in high school. Going to prom in his '63 (or whatever) white souped up Chevy (what else???) Impala. Seeing Asleep At The Wheel in Chicago drinking Heineken's until we almost burst. And always that devilish grin followed by that "what??!" look of innocence. A great guy. A great friend. "God bless ya", P. Michael!

Mike and I became friends in Kindergarten, continued through Holy Cross Grade School and Mendota High School, through 30+ years later. I heard about Mike's illness while with girlfriends at a holiday luncheon and we didn't hesitate to call him at his hospital room. He was able to talk to our dear friend, Carol, and we were so glad that he knew he was in our thoughts and prayers, just two days before he died. Mike -- friend to everyone he met, always smiling, always fun, always caring for all of us from his hometown of Mendota -- sadly missed.

To a friend who always had time to listen. Your departure from us will always be a sad day, but your memories will always be enjoyed. It was a pleasure knowing you and hearing the stories of your children and of your fishing trips. You will be missed my friend

Although we feel you left us too soon,it is knowing that you are at peace and in a better place that brings us some comfort. Thanks for the friendship and support, not to mention the many laughs and great stories we shared over the years. The way you would beam when talking about Kari and Tom also made me proud to call you "friend."
