Raymond "Ray" P
Frank
July 8, 1945
December 17, 2022

Ray passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on December 17, 2022. He had struggled with COPD and A-Fib for many years but put up a good fight.
Ray was born in Colorado Springs to Fred Frank Sr. and Elma Brenning Frank and grew up in Rush, Colorado. He attended school at Truckton and Miami Yoder. Prior to his first year of high school the family moved to Colorado Springs and he attended Palmer High School.
He was in retail and worked as a butcher/meat cutter for Miller's Super Market and King Soopers, retiring from there.
He loved playing cards and games with family and friends, traveling and having people around. He was also a very good cook and loved to experiment and created many wonderful dishes. When his health still permitted, he enjoyed going to Cripple Creek playing poker and Black Jack. He also spent time fishing, camping and gardening growing huge sunflowers.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, one daughter, Lisa Burris, two sons, Brian and Zachary Frank, two sisters, Helen Wilson and Eleanor Martin, four grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
Burial will be private. A memorial will take place at First Presbyterian Church Cathedral Room, 219 E. Bijou St. on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in his memory to the American Lung Association in Colorado, 5600 Greenwood Plaza Blvd., Suite 100, Greenwood Village, CO 80111.
