RENEE CLAUDETTE SARGENT
August 19 1936 - March 3, 2018
Renee Sargent, at age 81, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018.
Renee was born August 19, 1936 in Houston, Texas, to Rene and Mona LeMoing. Renee lived most of her life in Texas, ultimately settling in Colorado Springs in the early 1990's.
Once Renee retired from NASA, she spent her time traveling, with her family, as a professional artist, "Art by Renee". She was very devoted to her friends, family and pets. Because of her kindness, caring, and out-going attitude, she was loved by all.
Renee is survived by he husband, Gil Shepherd; brother, Richard LeMoing and wife, Jamie; son, Steve Sargent and wife, Sharon; niece, Rhonda Wharton and husband, Alan; two grandchildren, David Sargent and Laura Lusk; six great-grandchildren, Jordan, Ashlyn, Reagan, Lauren, Olivia and Brody; and four great-nieces and nephews, Heather, Rylan, Kyle and Hallie.
Mass and reception in favor of Renee will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 12pm, at Holy Rosary Church, located at 4435 Holiday Trail, Cascade, CO.
