Roberta Lear Obituary

My mother, JoAnn Jenkins, was a classmate and very close friend of Bert's. In my mother's 1947 Diary, Roberta encouraged her to try out for twirling. Roberta was one for 4 years, my mother 3 years.

In loving memory of a wonderful aunt. We love and will miss you Aunt Roberta.

To Linda, Phil, Bryan, Tim, and the rest of your awesome family - We were so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Your mom was always so friendly and welcoming, and most impressively such a consistent and solid anchor in your lives. She and your dad shared an impressive love, and clearly taught you all that family comes first. They left a great legacy in your family. Much love to you all, and may happy memories surround you during this time of loss. The Nalicks

We remember our neighbor Roberta with fondness. In our home we have, and treasure, several ceramic items she taught our daughters to make. Our thoughts are with her family.

Some of my favorite childhood memories are of the family get- togethers we had at Jerry and Roberta's house. She will be deeply missed.

Ms. Lear was a wonderful lady. She attended all the swimming and diving events over the years that Jerry was the coach. I will remember her as kind, supportive, and enthusiastic with all the swimmers and divers at CC. I wish her family well.

To the Lear family I extend my sympathy. I have many fond memories of Roberta from First United Methodist Church and the long-lasting Canasta Club.

Dear Steven, Linda and Lesa,
Byron's brother, Don, called this morning to let us know of your mother's passing and we would like to extend our heartfelt sympathies to each of you and your families. I first met Roberta shortly after Byron & I were married over 50 years ago and throughout the years that followed we always looked forward to shared family gatherings. She was both kind, gracious and always fun to be around, as was your father. They were both very special people. I know she will be greatly missed by the many who's lives she has touched throughout her lifetime and especially by the many family members who she loved and cared for so deeply.
