Roger S. Morton, 91, of Colorado Springs, Colorado went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 3, 2023.
He was born on September 20, 1931 in Melbeta, Nebraska to George and Arlene Morton.
Roger completed his education in Mitchell, Nebraska. He later earned an Associate's degree in Electronics. Roger enjoyed his memories of time with his brothers and good friends. He loved bike riding, swimming and fishing. As a young man, Roger enjoyed working at a local creamery.
Roger was in the Sonar Division of the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He soon married Winnie Andrew. They have one surviving son, James. Roger and family transferred to Colorado Springs, Colorado where he spent thirty-eight years working as an Electronic Technician with the FAA before retiring.
Roger enjoyed traveling with friends and family. He married Mary Lou Henderson in 2003. They celebrated nineteen years together prior to Roger's death. He will be missed by all who knew him.
