Ronald Petrovich Obituary
Ron was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he was awarded the bronze star for his service as a helicopter pilot. After he was discharged from the military, he worked for Colorado Springs Utilities for over 30 years. Ron was a curious military historian who took on many research projects on the Civil War and WW2. He was also a train enthusiast who enjoyed setting up his model train set for nephews. Above all, Ron was a generous and understated guy who would always help anyone in need, but never wanted credit. Family was of most importance to him.
Ron is survived by his sister Patricia (Jerry) Mielke, nephews Devin (Dara), Ryan, Tanner (Alyse), Joseph (Lisa) & Cash, nieces Jaidyn & Mackenzi and his canine bestie, Yogi. He is also survived by his Uncle Stan Petrovich along with numerous cousins.
Ron was the proud son of WW2 veteran Walter Petrovich and Amelia Petrovich who preceded him in death along with his brother and fellow Vietnam veteran Walter (Wally).
Memorial service will be private.

My sincerest condolences to the Petrovich family. I worked with Ron for many years both at Nixon and the Fountain Valley Authority Water Treatment Plant. He was an extremely talented individual with a mischievous sense of humor. One would never want to try to pull a prank on Ron as he would always out prank you. Rest in peace Ron.

My heart is a bit empty now that Ron is gone. I miss talking with him, hearing his voice, and talking about planes, trains, Nascar Racing, and the Cubs. My love to his Sister Patty, and her Son's for their loss with him, also.

Always looked forward to the summer visits from the Petrovich family, Aunt Millie, Uncle Walt, Wally, Ronnie, Patty and Rusty. My mom and Aunt Ann would be buzzing around making kugelis and lemon fluff. Ronnie would always bring some fireworks to blow up the neighborhood. Good Times
