Dad,
I really don't know How to describe the emptiness I have in my heart and my life. We shared so many things together over the years, and the last few years were especially precious to me. The hours we sat and talked at the table over coffee or as we drove across the country together and I really learned who you were as a child, a man and as my Dad. I will always hold you in my heart and mind.I will always hold your secrets and your love in my heart forever. I will always love and miss you, till we meet in heaven with our Lord. Thank you for everything you did for me and for just being Dad.

Dad,
I love and miss you so much. You were the best father anyone could ever ask for and I find it hard to believe you are gone. You were always there for me and David no matter what and I am so grateful for everything you've done for me from the time I was little on. The hurt and emptiness left by your passing will never fade and the only peace I can find in all of this is that at least you are no longer in pain and are now with mom. I love you Dad and we'll see each other again one day when we both stand in the presence of our Lord.

Grandpa,
Words usually come easily to me whether its in conversation or writing, its part of the reason I've focused on trying to become a writer, but I find myself at a loss of words to adequately describe just how I'm feeling, how lost I am without you. You were and are my hero and my idol. As the only male role model and influence in my life, you are the father I never had. Everything I learned about being a good man I learned by watching you. I know you are with Grandma and I am thankful that you are no longer in pain, but I miss you terribly. I miss hearing your words of wisdom and I hate that whenever something comes up and I want another take on it I can no longer ask for your advice and opinions. Its indescribable just how hard it is without you around. I keep thinking back to how you used to tease me when I was little (like the bug zappers!), to how we'd go to the balloons every year just to see the Sharp Tooth, and how we'd sit around sharing stories about our puppies and the goofiness they get up to. I know you wouldn't want me to sit around being sad and crying, so I try to keep on as best I can by focusing on work, writing, and keeping up with the usual sarcastic quips, but frankly nothing is the same anymore and my heart just isn't in any of it. All I know is that I just hope that I make you proud and that I can forever live by the values you taught me and be half as good a man as you are.

Grandpa,
I want to thank you, for being a man that I could look up to. A man that showed bravery and courage through out your entire life, never giving up no matter what obstacle was thrown your way. A man that would stand up for what you believed in. I want you to know, I cherish every memory I have with you. God knows I can't eat a lizard tongue candy without thinking of you. Your stories you told, no matter how silly they got, I loved hearing them. The greatest thing was see your smile light up your face as you told them. Grinning from ear to ear, as you were hoping I was buying those wild tales. Even the one about the alligator living in your basement. I never knew what was going to come out of your mouth but I knew this...No matter how far I was away from you, even in this flatland, you still love me. I was blessed to have you in my life, and blessed I got to share you with my children. I will be missing you until the day comes that I get to see you in heaven.
Love Wendy

Opa, we will miss you so much. We will remember you always! We will never forget the stories you told us about the military. When we fall and get hurt we will remember that the best thing to take the pain away is the bear grease, that only you were brave enough to wrestle and get that powerful stuff. We will always enjoy that you came to see our Soap Box Races, and Baseball Games. You will always be in our hearts.

I worked many years with Pappy on the Sheriff"s Department. Pappy was a very strong man and most of all a leader, always willing to help. Although he has left earth God has a special place for him sitting at the gates saying "You looky here boy" words I will never forget. RIP and God bless.

Roy you will be truly missed. You would brighten my day when you would come in and talk about your dog's special talents...such as, being able to count money and practice cursive writing. Your spirit was bright and you will be missed by this bank teller.

I will miss come over every night with one of the dogs and drinking coffee with you. Listening to you talk about all the things you did growing up as a teenager. Your military career and all the places you were station. The bad weather days patrolling in your police cruiser and catching bad guys. I will never forget those times and I know you will be waiting for me in heaven so we can sit and talk some more.
Love and miss you always
Your Son-In-Law Bruce.

I worked with Roy and considered him a friend and mentor. When I first began my career as a law enforcement deputy, Roy took the time and had the patience to teach me about what was required to do the job. Pappy, may you be at peace.
Sincerely,
Frank W. Frazier Jr.
