What a loss, for those of us left behind, but can you imagine the reunion going on now. Ruth was such a wonderful, loving person and who can forget what a GREAT prayer warrior she was. A visit, at her home, made me feel closer to heaven. She was a wonderful friend and I plan to meet her again, in heaven. My sincere sympathy to all the family.

My Little grqndma. Tears well up and my heart hurts as I think that we no longer have you here with us. So many wonderful memories. Thank you for the summers you let me stay with you. Thank you for taking the time to show me how to cook and bake and let me help you. Memories of all the early morning and late night chats in the kitchen. The tire swing and easter egg hunts. The malts and stealing your diet candy and sodas. The Christmas's with all the family there and so much fun we had. I remember you keeping me entertained in church by letting me eat your certs. Thank you for being a wonderful Christian woman who prayed for her family and lived what she believed. You gave us a blessing greater than any wealth or treasure. Your heritage passed to your daughter Bessie, my sweetheart and hero of a mom. She embraced your values and passed them to me. How thankful I am for a Christian up bringing. How thankful I am for a Grandma that would get on her prayer bones for me and my family and intercede for us. My mom is just like you and I hope to be just like both of you. There is so much to say. Ill miss you so much and am so happy that you are in heaven with no pain or sadness and having the time of your life with "Daddy BOY" and Vaughn and Lauren not to mention all the others who have gone on. Im so anxious to see you and everyone I love there. I can see the power and glory of God all over you as you enter your new home. I want to live a life to honor you and mom and my family and mostly the Lord. Give grandad a hug from "short" and tell him I love him too. See you soon!

My Dear Aunt Ruth,
You will be missed dearly. You was a wonderful Woman of prayer. Even one of the times I brought Mom out to see you at the nursing home, Mom ask that you prayer for her and you said it has already been done as I pray for you every day. I can remember brushing your hair and enjoying the time that we had together. Now God said, it is time you come home to rest in the arms of Jesus you good and faithful servant. You will meet so many that have gone on before you that you didn't even know had passed. Now what a Day this will be when you all meet again. I still miss my dear Mother but I know are Heavenly Father has His loving arms around you all.
To the Family that is left, I know this is hard to face the loss of your dear Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great Great Grandmother, Just know that she is resting in the arms of Jesus, no more pain, no sorrow.
In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
I Love You Aunt Ruth and all the special times we had at your home and your great cooking.
Rest in Peace until we meet again. Say Hi to My Mother Dean.
Love Your Niece

Grandma Ruth will be missed by so many of us. I will always have special memories of her, and an apprection for her prayers, the way she made each one of us feel important and loved.
Her love was in everything she put her hands to, her sewing, cooking, and also her ministry work with the church.

Aunt Ruth, you will be greatly missed to those of us left here on earth. I know that you have left our world but have now entered into the Kingdon of Heaven. We may not be able to see you now, but I know that you are in Heaven watching over us now.

I am sure that there is a joyous reunion there in Heaven. So many of our loved ones have met you at the Gates Of Heaven. They are welcoming you home with open arms. What a glorious sight that must be for you.

I have many memeories of you and grandma. You and grandma were always there for all of us; praying for all of us. I always felt that the two of you had God's direct line into Heaven. You both taught me what the Bible means, taught me the power of prayer and the power of faith. Thank you for being a wonderful example of what God would want each of us to be. I will miss you both until I see you again.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your immediate and extended family. I know there hearts are heavy now; but I also know that they know that you are in a far greater place than we could ever imagine.

Thank you Aunt Ruth for having such an important impact on my childhood upbringing. Thank you for the being a wonderful sister to my grandma. Give her a big hug for me. I love and miss you both.

I thank God for the family He has given to me.

Your great-niece

I will miss my grandma great. I dream of her house on Chelton often. Our home. I remember her eating gummy worms watching wheel of fortune in the study. Most of all I am grateful to her for praying for me. The way only she could have.
