Steven Elliott Obituary
He was born on November 10, 1959 in Denver, Colorado to James Thomas Elliott and Bonnie Louise (Barneycastle) Elliott.
Steven often said that he was born 100 years too late. He was a minimalist in everyday life and a collector of artifacts. Steve loved his dog and he was passionate about the outdoors, spending most weekends 4-wheeling, camping, hiking, fishing, mining, and backpacking. In his own words he would say, "I've been there," when talking about high mountain lakes, wilderness hikes, and rivers in Colorado. Steve was a dedicated off road enthusiast and enjoyed annual trips, with friends, extreme 4 wheeling in Moab.
Steve is survived by his siblings: Donna (husband David) Emick, and Terry (wife Jeanette) Elliott; and by his beloved dog, Jesse. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel in celebration of Steven's life.

My heart pours out love to Donna and Terry and the rest of the family for your loss. I am his cousin and have not seen him in 35 years, and now sad to of missed him. I am sure he is with the Lord.....My love and prayers to all.

Our hearts break knowing that you are no longer physically with us anymore. But I do hope you are sitting at a beautifully stocked lake with your pole in the water, catching fish left and right. I hope you are sitting there with a smile on your face as you watch Sara and Katie run around. I hope you are giving your parents big hugs and catching up with them as well as Nan & Father and those who passed before you. You made a difference in this world Steve....you were loved by many and we are going to miss you so very much!!! I love you!!!

I'm so sorry for your families loss. I met Steve several years back, through a mutual friend. He was always so kind and friendly to me, and always welcomed me at his house with a smile. I'll miss him!
