Thomas Eaton Obituary

Thomas Anthony Eaton, of Colorado Springs, son of Virgil and Cathrine Eaton, brother of Clifford Charles Eaton, born March 27th 1953 at Penrose St. Francis Hospital, graduate of Palmer High School and former owner of Team Plumbing Inc. passed away May 6th 2017 at the age of 64, surrounded by family and friends.

A true outdoorsman with a care free spirit, Tom enjoyed everything the mountains and wild places provide. Hunting, fishing, and camping were cherished pastimes, along with four wheeling, ATV's, and spending time on the open road riding one of his beloved Harley's. A dedicated father who was loved by everyone who knew him, Tom will be remembered for being as genuine a man as they come. With integrity and loyalty to match, Tom's passing falls heavy on the hearts of all who were fortunate to have had him in their lives.

Tom Eaton is survived by his daughter Tember Cathrine Eaton, sisters Peggy Gayle Eaton and Kathleen Eaton Joslin, nieces Nicole, Gayla, Danelle, Ashley, Alexandra, Alanna. Nephews Rich Jr. and Justin, grand nieces and nephews Jakob, Alyssa, Damian, Morgan, Carli, Khloe, Carson, Roklin, River, Lola, Rowan, Alivia, Stassi and Lucian.

In recognition of Tom's deep love of the outdoors, his intimate knowledge and respect for the natural world and the blessings and teachings it provides, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tom's honor to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. (rmef.org)

A celebration of Tom's life will be held May 26th at 11:30am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 2030 W Colorado Ave, Colorado Springs. A reception with refreshments will follow, all in attendance are encouraged to share stories and memories at that time.
