Vernon Norvell Obituary
His wife and son, Danny, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his five children, Nancy Welch, Lawny Dean Norvell, Rod(Cecilia) Norvell, Sue (Bud) Tipton, and Charlie Norvell; many grandchildren; and his loving companion, Miriam Crocker.
Funeral service will be held at 3 pm Sunday, November, 29, 2015 at the United Methodist Church, 106 South 6th Ave., Lamar, Colorado. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Colorado Springs.
It has been requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Lamar Area Hospice, PO Box 843, Lamar, CO 81052.

I was sad to learn that my great friend of over 30 years had died. Though I hadn't seen him in years, not a month goes by without mention of Vern in one conversation or another. In this way, while not now physically with us, Vern is always with us in spirit and will remain so. I owe him a great deal and I do miss our once regular lunches.
I send my best to all the Norvell family and I'm sorry I couldn't have been at the funeral.
