Walter H. Johnson Sr. joined his son Walter H. Johnson Jr. in heaven on Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Walter was a New Years baby born on January 1, 1934 in Peoria, Illinois to Roy Johnson and Anna Mae Jones who preceded him in death. Walter was a member of the United States Air Force for 27 years. He was also a gifted painter and artist. Walter knew the Lord as his personal Savior. He was an active member of Soldiers Memorial Chapel, Fort Carson Colorado. To the family of the late MEPGHP Johnson

At times like this when we don't know what to do
Just talk to God and he will see you through
When words sometimes just won't do and you don't know what to say
Just talk to God and let him have his way

When friends and family come and go
Just remember that God has an open door
At times like this when words alone won't do
May God Bless and Comfort you

With Deepest Sympathy

To my family, words still cannot express the saddness & surreal feelings that we all are feeling. I am still in shock as i read his obituary. I cannot say that i understand how you are feeling because i have not lost my father but i do know that the loss of a loved one hurts deeper than any physical wound. I know there will be moments that you will be totally fine & other moments that you will hurt & cry but no one can seem to comfort you. Just know that GOD understands our pain but He has also has given us memories that can & will help fill that emptiness or void. Sending my love to you all :)

Dixie, praying God will comfort and bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. As you share, talk, and remember, may you truly find that the one you loved so much is still living in your hearts. Our sincere condolences are with you as you grieve. To Brenda Richards, Kelly M. Hills, and Erica M. Johnson no bond is as great as that between a parent and child. Praying that God will grant you peace to ease your hearts. With Love, Prayers & Sympathy
