Long Time Resident of
Pleasant Hill
Bill's empathy for the victims of '911' led him to create a 400 (sq. ft.) Twin Towers Memorial Park on Camelback Road in Pleasant Hill, CA. Bill proudly served as a US Marine.
Bill touched many lives with his gentle spirit and love of nature, and was honored by the City of Pleasant Hill October 21, 2002 as 'Bill Richmond Day".
He was also an accomplished landscape artist and aquarium enthusiast.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Patti and daughters Karen Olsen and Korinne Metz, stepdaughter Nancy Disher and stepson Patrick Cashman and their families.
