Debra Ann (Puzick) Hallisy passed away on September 24, 2024, at her home in Del Norte, Colorado. She was 70 years old.
Deb was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on November 26, 1953. She graduated from Wasson High School in Colorado Springs in 1971.
Debra is survived by her son, Nicholas, in Alamosa, CO; her son, Conor, daughter-in-law, Ariana, and grandson, Sebastian, in Houston, TX; brother Steve Puzick (Trude) in Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Phil Puzick (Marsha) in Alexandria, VA; brother Vince Puzick (Jannetta) in Colorado Springs, CO; nephews Jim, Terry, Martin, and Andrew; nieces Rebecque, Denise, and Jessica. She was preceded in death by her father, Eli; mother, Betty; and sister, Janie.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at 30 West Dale Street, Colorado Springs, CO, on Thursday, October 17, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
On Saturday, October 19, her San Luis Valley friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at the High Valley Community Center, 595 Grand Avenue, Del Norte, CO, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you support a local artist, art studio, or gallery in your community.

I did not know that Deb had passed, and I accidently came across this page. I was shocked! I have several of Deb's paintings. She is an inspiration to me in my painting endeavors. She will be forever missed.

I had hoped to see and reminisce with Deb again. We had many fun times together and I always loved her spirit. I admired her seemingly nomadic, artistic-like life. My prayers go out to her family and friends. With love, Beth B

So sorry to learn of Deb's passing. Deb was a beautiful and nice person. Memories of Deb enjoying wonderful times with friends and fellowship. My Heart goes out to Deb's family To love is an everlasting memory The photo is of Deb on July 4th, 2004 celebration with friends at Minnehaven.
