Frank Richard Camilliere Obituary

Frank Camilliere, age 83, peacefully passed at home in the arms of his wife and loving daughters on April 20, 2016. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to any one who had the pleasure of meeting him.

Frank was born in Tarrytown, New York, March 9, 1933 to the union of Joseph and Sadie Camilliere. His parents preceded him in death. Frank met and fell in love with Jean Zago and they married March 3, 1957. Frank and Jean just celebrated 59 years of marriage.

He is survived by his wife Jean Camilliere and three daughters Pam Camilliere, Donna Camilliere and June Camilliere Davis. Frank has five grandchildren Colyn Renck, AJ Hodge, Brian Hodge, Danielle Davis and Mitchell Davis. He has two great grandchildren Jasmine and Aubryana. His brother Joseph Camilliere and his extended family in New York and his sister Rose Roberto and her extended family in New Jersey also survive Frank.

In addition to serving in the U.S. Navy immediately after high school, Frank was a successful salon owner for 40 years. His first salon was in Tarrytown, New York from 1961-1970. Frank and Jean along with their three girls left New York and moved to Monument, Colorado where he opened Frank's Town & Country at the Woodmoor Shopping Center. He served the Tri-Lakes Area from 1971-2000. Frank was beloved by his clients and was known for giving the "first" hair cut to many local children. He was active in two civic organizations the Rotary Club and the Lions Club; the later he once served as the local chapter president.

Frank loved dancing with is beautiful wife Jean and enjoyed golf, tennis, skiing and boating. He was a family man and was happiest when he had everyone home. Frank often said," He never met a person he didn't like." Likewise, there is not a person Frank met that did not like him. He was a kind, caring and loving man who will be missed and remembered by family and many friends.

The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.at the Woodmoor Barn on Woodmoor Drive in Monument to celebrate and remember Frank's life.

Estelle and I really miss Frank very dearly ! He was a dear friend and an outstanding husband and father. His memory lives on with us through the
relationship we have with his three beautiful daughters, one of whom,
JUNE is our daughter-in-law! And Frank was a Navy veteran as I am ! So we
had so much in common. We had great times talking about our service
experiences . We truly miss him greatly , Ray and Estelle Davis

Frank was a very charismatic, handsome, caring and overall very lovable man. I'm so glad I had the pleasure of spending time with him at the High School graduation festivities of my niece and nephew, Danielle and Mitchell Davis, two of his grandchildren.
