Frank Velie Obituary
He served 20 years in the United States Army until his retirement in 1974 as a Sergeant First Class. He also worked for District 11 in Human Resources for 24 years. Frank was the last president of G.A.C. Society and a member of the E.N.Z.I.A.N. Club.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helga, Daughter Donita LeVasseur, Son's Robert and Edward Velie and their spouses, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Thank you to everyone that took care of Frank in his long journey.
Celebration of life will be held Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Soldier Memorial Chapel at Fort Carson, Bldg. 15, Gate 1, 6333 Martinez St., Colorado Springs.
