Ione Luallin Obituary

Ione M. (Brown) Luallin passed peacefully to be with her Lord on April 19, 2021 in Colorado Springs. Ione was born May 13, 1927 in Emporia, KS to the late Morris and Esther Coman. Her brother, Seymour Coman, preceded her in death. Ione graduated from Emporia College with a BS degree in Business. She was married to "Pete" Brown for 32 years. They owned and operated the Browncraft Steak House in Woodland Park for 25 years. "Pete" passed in 1983.
Ione married Don Luallin in 1991. They enjoyed traveling and spending time with family for 25 years until he went to be with the Lord in 2017. Ione is survived by her three children, Lynette (and Gary) Hunt, Dave (and Leslie) Brown, and Leanne (and David) Sexton, and also by 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ione's name to Colorado Christian Services at 3959 E. Arapahoe Road #200, Centennial, CO 80122 which provides adoption services and counseling for birth mothers. She and her husband, Don, were passionate about this Christian organization.
There will be a Celebration of Life service on Thurs., May 13 at 2:00pm at Pikes Peak Church of Christ at 1402 W. Pikes Peak Ave. in Colorado Springs.
