On Wednesday, January 13, 2021, Rene Hultine, our beautiful mom, passed away unexpectedly during heart surgery at the age of 73.
She was born in Sacramento, California on August 5, 1947.
Rene was loved and will always be remembered by her daughters, Heidi and Shelley; her son-in-law, Robert; and her four grandchildren, Austin, Jaylee, Addison and Andrew.
She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Richard; her father, Leland Anderson; and her mother, Virginia Anderson.
Mom was a fun, loving lady who would light up any room. She loved to play games (and win), had a passion for all animals, and always looked forward to her next vacation. Rene lived in Newbury Park, California then Simi Valley, California for over forty years where she worked in banking, created Conejo Home Loans and always cherished the years she spent on a softball field with her girls and Bobby Sox Softball.
In 2018, she relocated to Colorado Springs, Colorado with her family and together, we've shared this new adventure. We are heartbroken, but we'll carry her love and memories with us until we are together again.
There will not be a funeral service, however, we plan to host a celebration of her life later this year.
