Thomas Lynn O'Hara II passed away on February 19, 2025 in Victorville, California. Born on July 20, 1966 in Sharon, Pennsylvania.
Tom grew up in Ohio and graduated from McDonald High School in Youngstown as part of the Class of 1984. He was fondly remembered by classmates and teachers alike as "the kid sleeping at his desk," a lighthearted memory that belied the drive and determination he would later bring to every aspect of his life.
Following high school, Tom answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Air Force. From 1985 to 1998. His assignments included six years as a Satellite & Wideband Communications Equipment Journeyman, two years as a Missile & Space Systems Electronic Maintenance Journeyman, and three years as a Contracting Journeyman. His exemplary service earned him several honors, including the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Air Force Defense Service Medal, and two Air Force Good Conduct Medals. Tom's military career reflected his steadfast commitment to excellence.
After completing his military service, Tom transitioned where he continued to demonstrate his leadership and vision. He was CEO Sales and Marketing of Know Your Code, Joe Ryder Enterprises, Genesis Group of Colorado LLC. In these roles, he brought strategic insight and tireless energy to every endeavor.
Tom was known for his unwavering kindness and determination-qualities that shaped both his professional achievements and personal relationships. Those who knew him admired his ability to lead with integrity while remaining grounded in compassion.
He is survived by his devoted wife Sandra O'Hara; his beloved son John. P O'Hara (JP); and daughter-in-law Sarah O'Hara. Tom's legacy lives on through them and through all who were fortunate enough to know him.
He was preceeded in death by his father, Thomas Lynn O'Hara Sr., as well as his loving grandparents John and Elizabeth O'Hara.
There will be a celebration of life to follow on Saturday February 21st, 2026. More information to follow.
