I'm so sorry for your loss. It was great getting a chance to meet him when my father and I took a trip out to Colorado a few years ago. He will be missed. c]:o) Cowboy Up!

I AND MY DAUGHTER SEEN HIM ABOUT THREE YEARS AGO AND WAS SHOCKED TO LEARN OF HIS PASSING. MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO HIM AND THE REST OF THE COUSINS, EVEN THOUGH WE DIDN'T SEE MUCH OF EACH OTHER OVER THE YEARS. HE WAS ALWAYS A NICE AND LOYAL COUSIN WHOM I AND MY DAUGHTER AND THE REST OF THE FAMILY WILL MISS. SORRY I COULD NOT MAKE THE OPEN HOUSE, BUT WILL BE IN COLORADO SOON FOR ANOTHER VISIT.

Glenn was a great friend and was a pall bearer at my husband's memorial service just a few months ago.Glenn was a great person.

Sorry I won't make it to the open house. I was cutting a piece of sheet metal just now and stopped to talk here a little bit. I recalled that Glenn could cut any thickness of steel by hand as though it had been sheared with a machine with no grinding necessary to fit it up for welding. I, on the other hand, go through grinding wheels more than most.
I don't have any original words of wisdom to help any, but I know a Bible passage that pretty much says what needs saying about all of us and Glenn.
Romans:12
6 In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. 7 If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. 8 If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
9 Don't just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. 10 Love each other with genuine affection,[e] and take delight in honoring each other. 11 Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.[f] 12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. 13 When God's people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you. Don't curse them; pray that God will bless them. 15 Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. 16 Live in harmony with each other. Don't be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don't think you know it all!
17 Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. 18 Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.

Glen and Van were neighbors who were always ready to help and liked a good joke One time they came by my shop. van came in to keep me occupied while Glen and Tom Fuqua tied a pot bellied pig to my bumper. They both have always been in my thoughts and always will be.

I met Glen (and Van) when I first moved here in 1989. They would tease me and keep me on my toes. So funny. Glen taught me how to back my first horse trailer up. He worked on my truck and horse trailers and kept me safe. I'm so sad to hear he is gone.

I knew Glenn when I lived up the road from them. He was so helpful when we purchased cows and horses I cannot beleive that he is gone. He was a hard worker and he will truly be missed.

I mourn the passing of a good friend. He left a strong legacy of what is right. For that, he will be missed. How lucky I was to know such a man.

I am missing Glen as a good friend and hunting companion. I am so sorry for all of his family, what a hell of loss & the conservative movement has lost a pillar. I could have stopped at his shop the night before his death but didn't , my loss ya' just never know what's over the horizon

I grew up out in the Black Forest as well and have such fond memories of Glenn -- his gentle spirit, warm smile and always willing to lend a hand! A TRUE GENTLE-MAN!
Prayers go out to the whole family -- you are all so dear to me and I know God will wrap you in His Grace during this hard time!
Rest in Peace Glenn <3

I grew up in Black Forest with fond memories of going to Van and Alma's. There was always a stash of candy for us kids, and I would sweet talk Glenn into Reading me the Comics from the paper. (I was 4) Glenn was always so patient with us. He touched more lives then he even realized.

Glenn was a dear friend to me for many years when I lived near him. I've read that we are the sum of all the people we have met. I am who I am today in part because of of Glenn. The generosity he showed me, the help when I was a single parent and times were hard, and the comfort of his steady friendship got me through those times. With the passing whisper of his wisdom, he helped me figure out who I am and what I wanted to become and helped create the person I am today. I will always carry the legacy of his generosity and spirit with me. He has passed through this world and made all the world a better place to be, simply by being who he was. In his wake: a trail of bright sunshine and hope for the future that will always give light to our days. I will miss him.

Uncle Glenn was one of the best men I have ever met. He was selfless and taught me everything I will ever need to know about horses. The world has lost a great man and I will miss him forever.
