Terence "Terry" Lilly
1934 - 2018
Terence (Terry) Lilly of Cincinnati died on Sunday, April 29, 2018 after a long illness. He was born in 1934 at Glockner (now Penrose Main) Hospital, the son of Eugene Lilly and Romaine Felix Lilly Sachs. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Lilly; his children, Anne Lilly Cone (Philip) and John Lilly (Vanessa), 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Romaine Lilly Walker (Stephen).
Mr. Lilly graduated from Fountain Valley School, Harvard College and the Harvard Business School. He was a trust banker in Chicago and Cincinnati as well as Colorado Springs, where he was head of the trust department of the First National Bank of Colorado Springs, now J.P. Morgan Chase. He served on the boards of the Colorado Springs Symphony, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Penrose Hospital Foundation, and Ecumenical Social Ministries. He was also a member of the Vestry and Taylor Choir of Grace and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 4 at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, Cincinnati. Memorial gifts may be made to Grace & St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 601 N. Tejon, 80903 or The Salvation Army El Paso County, 910 Yuma St., 80909.

I always enjoyed chatting with Terry when he served on the Board of Directors of ESM. He was such a good man. May God bless you all as you mourn his passing.
